The FDA on Thursday announced that it has granted what it calls “the first over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aid software device, Hearing Aid Feature.”
I don’t use apple products, but this is pretty awesome. Im sure there’s going to thousands of people this makes a difference for.
I hate Apple stuff, but from what I understand, hearing aid companies have been hawking overpriced crap for a while now because of lack of competition.
So this should be a good thing IMO!

I didn’t think they could compete with a 6000$ medical device, but if they are better than 200$ hearing aid it could already be the better deal today
Medicare money flowing into Apple means constant money. Imagine Millennials picking hearing aids and preferring Apple EarAssist.
