    Yet again a company decides that it’s better for us to not have what they sold us. I wonder what the replacement product will cost it which agency is paying them to stop us.

    Funny I usually just take a picture of the with contrast bumped and black levels lowered.

    Personally I would very much like an easy way to screenshot the TV and send it to my phone

    The author of the article has no theory why they might have done this. I’ll suggest that maybe screenshots are used as a way to document obnoxious advertising, and Google would like to make that as difficult as possible.

    Obviously people were taking screenshots of films and then stitching them together to make gifs for entire 2 hour films, so this is all about stopping piracy! /s
