Hello. I’ve found little activity on lemmy for letter-writing. This seems like as good a place as any to post about it. This could be an opportunity for establishing camaraderie. Veteran organizers could correspond with newbies. Comrades from different countries could share stories of success and growth.

I am an amateur fountain pen collector. I enjoy writing letters and reading them from others. There is beauty in the form. It allows practice of artistic penmanship, as well as practicing fine motor movement. Finding hidden gems and restoring them to their former glory is one of my main outlets for relaxation. Community building is exciting, but it’s also draining at times. If there are a few people interested, I think it’d be cool set up pairs or a correspondence cycle. If even one person is interested, I’d love to write you. Email is also an option for people hesitant to share mailing addresses.
