I’m even happier seeing a nice big park around it. It feels like it makes the point even better somehow.
I used to ride my bike past the MCG on the way to work. I found out Ed Sheeran was playing there because I saw the stalls being set up in the evening.
It’s pretty cool to incidentally pass such an icon on your way to doing something else.
It’s a much more comfortable place for vomiting and fistfights than an asphalt parking lot
