As a freelance journalist – or an office worker if you wish – I have always believed that I should regularly buy a new laptop. But older machines offer more quality for much less money.

Got my T430 used, its a great laptop and runs any modern linux distro just fine.

  Oh I have T430s…only issue is battery life but it’s great and can still be modded/upgraded

What is libre culture?

Libre culture is all about empowering people. While the general philosophy stems greatly from the free software movement, libre culture is much broader and encompasses other aspects of culture such as music, movies, food, technology, etc.
