No, you’re still talking about horse race politics and the national binary. What I’m talking about are city councils, mayors, sheriffs, judges. The prevailing political parties don’t apply at this level.
National politics are already a sunk cost with the amount of dark money going into them.
What’s so funny about people like you are that you have a binary lens in which to view the world. And since all is already lost what’s the use in trying.
Gore lost to Bush in Bush’s Brother’s state in a complicated legal battle and a spurious under count. Nader didn’t factor into it, that’s how unimportant these third party candidates are on the national level.

So again to belabor my point. National elections are a distraction. Vote for candidates that align with your views on the local level. Vote for who you think will do the the least harm at the national level and watch as the candidates you want filter up through the political process.
