The suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO has been charged with weapons, forgery and other crimes in Pennsylvania after being arrested at a McDonald’s on Monday morning, the AP reports.

A police criminal complaint charged him with forgery, carrying firearms without a license, tampering with records or identification, possessing an instrument of crime and providing false identification to law enforcement.

The 26-year-old suspect, identified by police as Luigi Nicholas Mangione, began shaking when police asked if he had been in New York recently, court records said.

Ah yes, American cops pulling synonyms for charges out of a hat if they don’t like somebody.

Governments, like the one of America, don’t care for the CEO or for this guy. They only care about showing the people that “it is impossible to get away” if you don’t follow the status quo.

'Cause right now they don’t have enough proof he was the shooter, but they want to hold him … so they charge him with whatever. BS charges can be dropped at any time.

40 years ago I would have agreed with you.

But not now after unfettered capitalism’s rise to power. It’s time they found out how weak they truly are.

If you decide that this system is so insufferable to live within that you’re willing to do what this guy did, I don’t see any reason to be taken alive.

I don’t understand what you’re saying here. I’m talking about pulling charges out of a hat just to make it worse.

You said they intend to show that it is impossible to get away with doing something like this. I agree, and was saying that if anyone does do something like this, then I see no reason to be taken alive. They had nothing to lose, and their life is over.
