In confronting all three foreign policy dilemmas, Washington needs to incorporate an understanding and acknowledgment of the things the United States has done that contributed to them.

It wasn’t until the emergence of Zionism at the end of the 1800s and waves of European immigration into Palestine, British meddling via the Balfour declaration and Mandate and subsequent US financial and political support for Israel’s ethnic cleansing, illegal settlements and brutal apartheid that this neverending catastrophe was created.
