The thing that sucks, is digital is so friggin convenient. But the big problem remains, it’s just an expensive rental. You don’t actually have real ownership
You don’t really with physical these days either, at least not with video games. Lots of games require online services to play then and become bricked when the servers are shut down.
And then most of the time, a disk doesn’t even have the game on it. It’s essentially just a download license for you to download the actual game digitally. It’s all an ownership scam.
Shit last PC game I bought physical was me3, all it had in the large case was an origin download code. PC side this has been going on for a while.
After the past year watching the merger with ActiBlizz, I don’t have any trust left in Phil’s words.
