Never heard of this. Is this a loss for someone - whatever “VReverie” was?
On it’s own, VReverie shutting down is actually a good thing. They’re management is notoriously abusive. Of the 14 talents they hired, only 2 remained (technically 3 if you count Furi).
On the larger scale, it’s adding to the pattern of small Vtuber agencies shutting down this year. PRISM, EIEN, Production Kawaii, and now VReverie.
At least in Prism’s case, the decision came from up high in Sony. The talents had nothing bad to say about their immediate management.
I briatcookiebox vague posted about talking to her lawyers about if NDAs were still in effect if the company closes, so there may be stories to come.
