A rare, relative ‘win’ for my disabled, crippled ass.

Never go outside? Only meet the Walmart grocery delivery person twice a month?

    Low exposure risk!

… I managed to get COVID fucking twice in the past 4 years, both times due to idiot roommates.

Both times, took me completely out for 2 weeks, 2 weeks of being unable to sleep more than 2 hours a night, despite being triple vaccinated the first time, quadruple vaccinated the second time.

… lost my sense of smell and taste each time, somehow regained them after a month each time as well.

Well, a current vaccine does exist. If someone does not want to take it, their problem.

Whether they commit suicide by not vaccinating or drinking raw milk does not matter.

It would definitely help if it was free, if you’re homeless or just don’t have insurance for whatever reason, is it really fair that you’re expected to pay for vaccinations?

A lot of people like I talked about, don’t have $200 lying around, really a state failure, not insuring anyone who wants it can actually get it.

Both of you are correct, and it’s because we can’t fix stupid: those who can but refuse to participate in public health, and those responsible for public health. Unfortunately, even if the latter shaped up and got an affordable vaccination program, the former still exist.

Vaccinated people can still die (or become disabled) from COVID.

Yes, but is much less likely. Like hundreds of times. That’s what antivaxxers and their apologetists don’t want people to hear.

That doesn’t make dismissive statements that imply it’s just a problem for antivaxxers sealing their own fate responsible.

Just uh, spent the last week with it. Got it from a co-worker who had got put on Azithromycin by the local urgent care that thinks its “walking pneumonia”. So much of the stuff is being prescribed there are shortages locally. They uh, not testing for COVID or something, stuff pops positive on an OTC rapidtest.
