I’m just seeing all these vetoes. Is he not communicating well with the legislators? Did they pass all of these knowing he would veto ? Is this about sending a message?
I loved him. He starred in Chuck which was an incredibly fun show with Adam Baldwin (that may not have aged very well-every female character had to be super sexualized).
That’s not showing in my blue city, but another movie “Am I Racist?” is showing (or not? Maybe they don’t hit play if the theater is empty).
It seems to be about a racist guy who takes on a disguise so nobody recognizes him as the racist guy and pretends to be a mentally ill progressive or something and interviews people
Nah just some virtue signaling and fear mongering
That same section they always quote to hate on gay people
I don’t know what the fuck you just said. But you’re special, man

No I think you’re misunderstanding me. When he said “you should just borrow a truck from a friend”, he was describing what should be happening in an ideal situation. The ideal situation being that the only truck owners be people who legitimately need and use the truck for regular truck-related work. Thus whomever you borrow the truck from would be a person who actually uses the truck.
The whole purpose of this thread is calling out the problem of people who own a truck simply because “muh truck”. Even smaller ones have a different gear ratio than cars to favor torque instead of gas mileage, so I believe it is a fair complaint within the context of this community.
I think in his scenario, the friend who owns the truck is in the 15% who use the bed regularly
What’s the presidential tattoo situation?

NYT and other major outlets that carried the same Reuters pull used language of “the channel based in Qatar”. AP said “broadcaster”.
Actually, Reuters only said “entered”, so NYT added “forcibly”. AP only said raided. BBC also said entered.

Israel article is a news push from Reuters. However the Reuters article, and the rest of the media that used the piece included the word “raid” in the title. The original Reuters article also was much longer and included Al Jazeera response…
I dunno about other places, but maybe a little late for my city. So many people been hit with it since beginning of August
