I’m not familiar with this. Can you give a “for example?”

And this time IDF didn’t shoot them!
Ah, yes. I can’t speak to the intent of the meme. Not that you specifically asked me, personally, in the first place. Sorry, I’m of no help there, but if I were to guess, I’d say it’s a Jerry Seinfeld “what’s up with that” attempt at humor.
Regarding the spelling, well now, that’s just equal parts hilarious and sad.
There’s a lot of nuance in science that is ignored at non-upper-level university courses. We teach models that work for most cases, and each level deeper simply “lies” a little less, if that’s how we choose to describe what’s being taught. For 99.9% of uses, the simplest models are sufficient.
I’m not a fan of this guy, but let’s give credit where it’s due. The article headline is trying to rile us up for clicks. It took his comments about “building bridges to bring both sides together” and accused him of encouraging acceptance of homophobes. Aren’t there plenty of bigots out there to fight without twisting “building bridges” into “accepting homophobes?” Aren’t we better than this?
Excellent news! Leaf, Bolt, 500e, Cooper SE
Btw, thank you for creating. It makes my world a little nicer experiencing new art.
Regarding your edit (i. e., what would it take for Trump followers to change their mind), go hit YouTube with a search for “Jordan Klepper fingers the pulse” and watch some of those. A more recent one, in which he speaks to Niki Haley supporters, demonstrates what are likely “more reasonable” Republicans regarding Trump, and probably best answers your question. Most feature him speaking to Trump supporters at Trump rallies. One features him talking to supporters during (yes, you read that correctly) the January 6 insurrection. Watching these will help understand the entrenched mindset. Hilarious and horrifying.
Clarence Alito Otherfolk? Man, that guy.
Times change a few years later, but I wouldn’t bank on that non-escalation theory here.
I thought the exact same thing! At the time, I’d heard rumors that the entirety of USSR’s air defense was smoke and mirrors. This isn’t helping to refute those decades old rumors, if there is anything to refute.
I noticed my mental health was having serious issues due to climate issues and had to step away. I keep tabs somewhat, try to do what little I can, and hope somehow things will turn around. Years ago, I didn’t see any way we would see our way safely through the Cold War, and then out of nowhere it was over. I see no way out of climate disaster, but hope somehow out of nowhere a solution will present itself for this one, too. That’s the hope I hang on to, and it helps me.
Then again, with that same theory, he could just eliminate Congress altogether before the voting starts for impeachment. Or place specific justices on house arrest before they vote. Basically, the idiotic idea of a president not beholden to laws is mostly the same as a despotism if the “president” wishes it to be.
Also, we need you to come in to work this weekend. HAHAHA! Bajorans don’t get weekends off!
I nearly missed seeing the guy standing on the wing. That is a large sculpture.
Yeah, fair enough. Especially the SC/Constitution-doesn’t-matter-anymore thing. Geez. What a mess we’re in.
Personally, I’d love to see a future Buttigiege/AOC ticket, but I’m not sure how well that would work in a general election. Who knows in 4 years, though?
AOC isn’t even old enough to run. I am thinking you haven’t thought through your argument as thoroughly as you think you have.
Steal a $19,000 lectern? Nah, bro.
Steal $19,000 through buying overpriced office equipment with company funds from a friend who takes you on a fine Parisean experience with the profits? Yeah, boy!
Best I can do is $7.50. Act now, and I’ll throw in a pack of gum to seal the deal.
It was Oliver.
