The DPRK is built around self-sufficiency as a founding principle, and as such can do whatever they want. Iran is more self-sufficient then most, but still can’t tank sanctions the same way.

The DPRK has a defensive alliance with China which of course makes the west more hesitant to bomb them while Iran for the most part is alone.

As a poster here from Iran has said, there might be a dangerously high number of liberals in Iran’s government who want to be accepted by the west rather then stand up against them.

2·7 days agoSimply put I just don’t think Soviet era S-300s which make up the majority of Iran’s AD are sufficient against stealth aircraft like the F-35. They would need quantum radar systems like China has to reliably counter them and Iran just isn’t at that level.
Yes but I think most libs would superficially agree that the Vietnam war was a mistake. Praising the Vietnam war as something good is more of a hard right chud thing.

3·14 days agoDemanding the PLA to go marching to Iran’s aid of course would be silly but it’s clear Iran is suffering a severe deficit in their air defense and are very much in a vulnerable position if no one steps to help them in that area at least. It’s not going to stretch the US empire all that much if they decide to simply start wrecking havoc on Iran with B2 bombers. I don’t think anyone who doesn’t already hate China is going to be upset if they start sending Iran Pakistan level military aid.
