I didn’t even know that and always have preferred Display port. Only got wonky vid over Hdmi yet, not DP

KDE can be whatever you want, but requires time to configure
Gnome is trying to achieve “it just works”
It just works meaning “use your computer how we think it’s most efficient”

Maybe your phone only uses 5GHz wifi if internet speed is good enough that it is worth it. There is usually a switch that is called something like maximum compatibility where it turns WiFi down to 2.4GHz
And, that is a good thing 😂
