Mullahs sind per Definition in Persischen Männer. Es gibt keine Vorbeterinnen, eine solche Position ist der Frau im Iran verwehrt. Und selbst wenn es Männliche und weibliche Mullahs geben würde, so wäre es nicht der Mull und die Mullah, wie Ihre *-Schreibweise impliziert. Denn das Persische hat kein grammatisches Geschlecht und trifft diese Unterscheidung erst gar nicht.

Mullah als abwertender Begriff entstammt keineswegs dem westlichen Kolonialismus sondern wurde schon in den 1760ern von indischen Prinzen so genutzt.
