Is there a recommended android app for it?
I just saw the FAQ section after.

From what I understand, they are using something like a pixel with associated JS code on a website to ring up their respective apps on localhost on the device to share browsing history.
So if you’re using uBlock and Privacy Badger which block these things, I think you shold be ok, yes?
No. Because Russia and China have been there practically forever. It wasn’t created just a century ago by killing and destroying an existing nation based on a crooked ethno-fascist ideology.
It’s a way to stop the oppression in the entire region in general. Including Lebanon and Syria. And stabilizing the region entirely.
Israel never was a legitimate country to begin with. It was founded on genocide. And recent actions from their government and its zionist zealots have further deligitimized it.
Besides, you can’t have a true democracy if you’re going to be a theo / ethno nationalist country.
I wouldn’t even be surprised if that were a true story lol
So write to them and ask which is which. Might just be a mistake.
Isn’t labor the left leaning party or am I misled by the name?
Sometimes I regret my choice of doing software engineering only to be glued to a computer my whole adult life working at optimizing systems for large corporations to maximize their already huge profit and contributing nothing of significant value to humanity.
I’d rather be riding around on an ATV outdoors with the sun and trees and flowers and birds collecting soil and rocks and stuff.
Yeah, that would make him a martyr. A true saint.
People wouldn’t stand for it and it would trigger huge protests, I would assume.
I thought the death penalty was abandonned in New York?
Seriously. If this is your main instance, set up monthly donations. Even if it’s just 1$/£/€ or whatever. Times 16k that’s $16,000+/month. I donate to mine every month.
The fediverse is free because someone else is paying for it out of their own pocket. Not because they’re collecting and selling your private data. So do your part. It’s for the greater good and the freedom of the internet.
Huh, the Gazette is part of Postmedia?
That explains a LOT!
From the Wikipedia page:
On 11 November 2023, it was alleged that Tuta was being used as a honeypot for criminals with a backdoor from authorities. An ex-RCMP officer, Cameron Ortis, testified that the service was used as a storefront to lure criminals in and gain information on those who fell for it. He stated authorities were monitoring the whole service, feeding it to Five Eyes, which would disperse it back to the RCMP in order to gain more knowledge about the criminal underground. However, no evidence was ever presented to back up this statement, and Tuta refuted the claim.[22][23][24]
I think there is a big misunderstanding about this feature. People are throwing their arms up in disappointment but in reality this is a helpful feature for privacy.
This post doesn’t even explain what the feature is or how it works. If you take the time to go read what the feature actually does, you’ll see it’s a good feature to have and it really does improve your privacy when you don’t have an ad blocker.
Just because Meta participated doesn’t mean it’s bad. If they only participated as consultants to understand the advertisement system so they can better protect us against it, it’s not bad.
I’m on the opposite of that opinion. I’d love it if proton had a whole suite like Google drive and Google keep all bundled into one secure and private service.
