I’m not a rabid anti-nuclear, but there are somethings that are often left out of the pricing. One is the exorbitant price of storage of spent fuel although I seem to remember that there is some nuclear tech that can use nuclear waste as at least part of it’s fuel (Molten salt? Pebble? maybe an expert can chime in). There is also the human greed factor. Fukushima happened because they built the walls to the highest recorded tsunami in the area, to save on concrete. A lot of civil engineering projects have a 150% overprovision over the worst case calculations. Fukushima? just for the worst case recorded, moronic corporate greed. The human factor tends to be the biggest danger here.
You can buy a Ryzen 9 32Gb 2 Tb mini pc that seems to have a similar form factor. It’s capable of running 3 4K diaplays, not too shabby. at Amazon in Europe for 446€. Or, if you’d prefer, a Ryzen 5 pro 16 Gb 512 SSD for 289 Link so half the money and you get 2x storage… Link sure, no thunderbolt, but considering the specs, I know what I’d buy.
Evolution in action.
That’s Inhoman!
I’m a guy with a high “test IQ”, and my sister, who is in the normal range is way more succesful that me in most aspects of life. You don’t want high “test IQ”, you want “smart people” not the same, and far more difficult to measure. High IQ basically means you are good at solving certain types of puzzles
In my country all water bodies are public, and shores must be easily accessible, so no private beaches, lakes or rivers. Freshwater shores are publicly accessible up to 5 meters from the highest regular levels. If you have a river crossing your large estate, people can walk through by walking up the shore.
If you store them with moth repellent.
Any seiko really
As I mentioned, I use remotes occasionally, so I’m trying a low fuss solution. If my bread and butter were remote support, I’d probably invest time in a more customized set-up
Thanks. I’m trying out HopToDesk. As I understand it’s a clone. Works pretty well. I hope they don’t pull any shenanigans
I do SMB support. I recently replaced one at a customer , essentially because it didn’t support larger disks. Also because it was slow as fuck. replacing a 10 year plus device doesn’t seem that unreasonable.
That said, I don’t like Dlink.
It’s not microplastics that worry me. It’s heated plastics, which is why I don’t use plastics in the microwave or use non stick cookware. BTW, the fancy air fryer seems to be all metal, like the toaster ovens.
Also, why the downvotes to a reasonable question?
Spain is by definition an imperfect democracy. You don-t vote for people, but for party lists, so all the people in a list are bound to party rule.
I think it is obvious that the intended use is Easter eggs, and kinders in a pinch. Also, that sock drawer to keep socks cool in the summer is genius
This is dumb. Hand over development to bureaucrats? create a set of guidelines and requirements, and allow distros to be certified, and fund development of distros that are being used.
I’m a linux, sometimes windows, and android user. I own an iPad, because of the Affinity apps, not available on android.
The browser fuckery, and other restrictions, like no torrenting, for example, that Apple imposes makes me continuously consider selling the iPad. Only Affinity saves the iPad. I could not accept these limitations in my primary communications device. the Android experience may be less polished, but it’s because freedom creates inconsistencies. I’d much rather have the inconsistencies, along with freedom.
Goggle things you can’t do with iPhone.
I use a Merkur shaver, and Feather blades. Feathers are possibly the sharpest, but they only stay super sharp like three shaves. It coasts me like 0,03€ a shave, and it’s the best shaving experience. Also, wet shave. Cream or soap nad a brush until thick. A neat trick. Turn the blade upside down every shave. Your skin kind of acts like a strop.
Not all blades are for everyone. Some find Feathers too sharp. When starting get a multibrand pack, with Astra, shark, etc. Youll discover which work best for you.
