World doesn’t technically have a rule against piracy, that’s at the instance level. If someone posts pirated content it’s going to get removed because of the lemmy.world guidelines, not our community guidelines.

It was obvious to everyone… but Biden. Like I’ve said in other threads, Biden makes up his mind and ignores all evidence to the contrary.

We saw it when people told him the plan to leave Afghanistan was a disaster. We saw it when people told him the economy was awful and people were hurting. His ideas about Israel are just another blind spot, a giant one.

I think there’s a large contingent of people who see negative reviews and go “Yeah, fuck that, I’ll make up my own mind.”

I felt the same way about Megalopolis. Glad I saw it. When I see reviews talking about how a movie is confusing or hard to understand my general feeling is “Yeah, but the reviewer could just be dumb too…”

Confusing movies are sometimes the best movies. :) Pi, Primer, the Fountain, Cloud Atlas (I still need to re-watch that one), Life of Pi. Lot of “P” movies here for some reason.
