In Spain we have bizum. It is instant, well integrated with bank apps, works with a mobile number and it is free.
For bittorrent and p2p it is better to use i2p, tor only to surf the internet.

You still have realvnc lite. It is free, 1 user, 3 machines, less features, but the basics still there.
