Wow! And I used to get upset about my 5% yearly raise at my last job.

First night in a long time that I’ve had the door and some windows open at night to cool down the house a bit.
Just don’t start the bike at 6am like my Harley neighbour and you’re all sweet.
So good, and definitely get up there next time! Your talents have been kept to us for too long haha.
$165 per month, so just over $30 per day. It’s a pretty nice space, have access to a dedicated sit/stand desk on the days I visit, kitchen facilities, and they do networking and social events too.
On my way to first day working from a co-working space. Got a membership for 5 days a month. Packed my bfast / lunch / snacks, and got dressed in something other than slum WFH clothes. Felt nice, I’m excited for this change up in my routine. Hope it’s worth the $$.
I’ve been lucky so far, then the warm windy Saturday past got me going for the season. And it triggers my asthma too, so that’s fun.
Sex On Fire has come on, they’re losing it
Back neighbours’ party has been going since before the GF started. They’ve descended into drunken scream singing, add some screaming kids to the mix, it’s so loud. Got my massive speaker going to drown them out.
I need to throw my own loud revenge party.
Steak sandwich and chips for lunch. About to go get some fresh bread for the sandwich. Beers, some snacks if I feel peckish later.
My neighbour started his Harley at 6am this morning. It’s like starting a chainsaw at that time - you don’t do it. Took me a while to fall back asleep and now I’m tired and grumpy. I’m up and sitting in the sun to get this bad mood out of me.
It’s local council voting season and I’m getting over seeing signs of the same three people plastered all over my hood. In front of houses, shop windows, street corners, you name it. Does this really get you votes?! I see their faces and I get angry, not wish to vote for them.
I am now home and relaxing after a day of feeling like I was running around aimlessly. Driving 100 on the Tulla was fun, I got home from the city quick fast.
Shop Ramen. Been on my list to try for a while but it was very average and expensive.
I left the ramen restaurant hungry. You’d think $25 would get you a decent sized ramen but no. Two tiny pieces of pork belly. And the broth was like chicken soup.
I had an accident trimming my beard last night, the length attachment fell off while using and took a huge chunk of it out. Didn’t have any other option but to trim it all off. I kept the mo and some of the “soul patch” (had to look up what that’s called, strange name). I haven’t been hairless on my face like this for years, it’s an adjustment. Feeling wind on my cheeks this morning was weird and kinda nice. Maybe this was divine intervention to change it up.
Melonball on a warm-ish day going down a treat. I purchased this melonball as it was on sale and regular sliced watermelon was not. It’s sweeter, tastier, and you get more fruit from it because the skin is super thin.
I’m sad that I watched the trailer. The US version is one of my favourite shows… why are they just rehashing the same main character traits? The boss is trying to be like Michael, there’s a Dwight character in there, what the hell.
It wasn’t too bad during the day today, but yesterday the wind was freezing. The mornings have gone cold again and tomorrow’s forecast looks terrible. Fool’s spring is a real thing!
No means yes or possibly yes to some people, no matter how clear you are.
