Is there a list of retail companies that are still committed to DEI policies? The only one I know of is Costco.

Edit: I did some more digging and found this website - dei.watch. The following are some of the ones listed as ‘committed’ on there at the time of writing:

    • Albertsons
    • Best Buy
    • Costco
    • CVS
    • Dick’s Sporting Goods
    • Dillard’s
    • Dollar General *
    • Dollar Tree *
    • Guess
    • H-E-B
    • Home Depot
    • Home Goods
    • Ikea
    • Lidl
    • Marshall’s
    • Meijer
    • Patagonia
    • Petco
    • Publix
    • REI
    • Ross
    • TJ Maxx
    • Walgreens
    • Wegman’s

Note: I’ve only listed physical store retailers who sell items (not restaurants) with either a nationwide presence or a significant number of retail stores. I’m sure I’m missing some, but this is a start.

*This chain might have an active DEI policy they are supporting and maintaining, but even among retailers they are also famous for treating their employees horribly.

Home Depot has effectively had DEI in there core values since they were founded and that hasn’t changed yet. Hell “Respect for all people” is printed on every single apron

Nice to see Wegmans on the list. This is also how I find out that Danny isn’t the CEO anymore (guess the cocaine habit finally won out).

“There is no ethical consumption under capitalism.” Best anyone can do is make informed decisions to minimize the harm to the best of their abilities.

lol Salesforce made the dismantled list. That place weirded me out, it felt so insincere. I knew that “Ohana” culture was horseshit. Also not a fan of their software.

UPS we haven’t cut any of our protections… But we didn’t exactly need dei in the first place, were already very diverse due to non discriminatory hiring practices (ie, hire literally anyone who applied)
