    Congress decided quite a while ago that presidents are allowed to have a little war, as a treat, and only seek approval for it later. It’s been this way at least since the '90s and likely before.

        You can if you want to, I guess. No one called for impeachment because Obama bombed Syrian weddings and schools.

            Take no heed. Americans only think politics extend as far as their two party system and think it’s binary too.

            (I know I’m generalising and not all Americans are as I described here)
