well it can sorta be useful for some things, afaik both the EU and sweden are looking at using similar architecture to make “digital cash”.
But like the first step they take is to excise the whole mining bit because the system has inherent trust, so it’s less “blockchain” and more “ledger-based distributed database”
You still don’t need a blockchain to track product logistics. This is always gonna be centralised, just use a normal database.
