Yeah, but if the global economy tanks, your locked-in-shares money will be worthless.

Looking at how quickly the Russian economy has managed to change to war time economics, droughts, floods are not the priority, understandably.
The real answer will be, it won’t affect me because I own parts of Ukraines farms, or I own chip manufacturing for efficiently growing gmo crops.
