    Japan and east Asia in general has an interesting relationship with Nazism. Nazi chic is a thing.

    Yes but with the exception of Japan, the Far East had little contact with Nazi Germany and the European/Western side of history isn’t that well taught (if at all, surely a target of colonialism and occupation like the Philippines mentions Western powers more often than landlocked Mongolia). So I think a skewed view of Nazi Germany in mainland Far East Asia is kinda understandable but absolutely inexcusable for axis power Japan.
