They tried. Oh, did the media try.

$25M is enough to rent a couple warehouses in Manhattan where volunteers give food for free to the needy for a whole year. Instead, $25M (plus plenty of free airtime and news stories) was spent telling people how a publicly owned grocery chain selling groceries at wholesale prices is somehow financially impossible.

Yes, I’ve seen the “fact sheets” from Fox “News”. Probably the best advertising he had.

Cuomo already conceded. I guess disgraced current mayor Eric Adams is still in the race, but I can’t see him winning either.

Fucking hell, of course he is. If a progressive runs and loses, it’s all loyalty and making sure not to be a spoiler, but a progressive wins and suddenly we have two disgraced officials running as independents.

I still feel like he’ll only take votes from Adams and not Mamdani, but I guess we’ll see.

It’s funny how people aren’t completely ignorant, and when they’re presented with a good alternative, they choose it. Funny, that.

Funny how if they aren’t presented with a good alternative, they will rebel to the point of civilization decay. Funny, that.

When the chips are down, people always vote for the strong man. Will the Democrats choose to be the strong man? Betteridge’s law of headlines applies.
