        I live in the rockies rn, and I would literally move to Wichita tomorrow if someone offered me a job that paid just as much. Kansas is slept on

          That’s fair. I do appreciate a lot of we got here, and currently at Wichita Pride fest. Lots of good community, easy living, and fun.

          But man is it small sometimes. I want to be in a sea of people now and again, just be part of a much bigger whole, and that doesn’t exist here

      That’s crazy, Denmark is one of the most expensive countries in EU, but here you can absolutely live decently on $35/hr.
      Apparently higher taxes but benefits like free healthcare and education beats the lower taxes of USA.

      Expenses must be insane in USA to not be able to live off $35/hr.

        This is also not that accurate. Cities are where it rings true most and the US has a LOT of space in between them away from the coasts. It’s not really like tightly packed Europe and more like Scandinavia.

        I also know a total of 0 people that make minimum wage, even in entry level jobs right out of high school.
