Normally an old soviet Ракета watch (that often sticks) or a shitty Casio with a cloth band. Have a couple of broken Штурманские watches as well that I need to fix.

If you like the look of Omegas and Rolexes but would rather have/would not mind a somewhat reasonably priced Chinese quartz version, check out Pagani design

I bought it on aliexpress. Or are you talking about the seconds hand?

The seconds hand on the lumen version is usually a hammer and sickle.

A few months. I wear it to work and it’s been pretty durable. No scratches or anything. I’ve been having to get used to having to wind it every day or two.

You oughta try wearing a cheap watch. A casio f91 or something like that. I thought I would never wear watches much but I wear one every day now. They are so damn useful

I usually wear a modern reissue of the original 1965 Vostok Komandirskie. I currently have it on a brown NATO strap that’s made from the soft seatbelt type material.

I’m dreading the day that it breaks, since getting a new one would probably be a pain in the ass - I ordered it direct from the manufacturer in Russia ages ago (long before the war started and Russia got all the sanctions on them). I might replace it with some other kind of field watch, maybe a JDM Seiko or something, when it meets its eventual demise.

The other watch I wear frequently is the cheapo model of a square G-Shock.

How is the thickness on the Seagull 1963?

That is a nice watch for a good price. Hopefully you’ll be able to get it worked and not have to worry about replacing it.

If you did have to replace it my favorite field watch is still the Weekender from timex. Honestly one should try it out just for indiglo.

G-Shocks are great. Never really go out of style either.

Mine is pretty thick. Not insanely thick but noticeably thicker than every watch I own. It’s an old movement that hasn’t really changed at all. It’s a cool piece just for that. No overwind protection is a bummer and it is easy to overwind if you don’t pay attention. A good watch with lots of quirks. Aliexpress has em pretty cheap. I think I got mine for 120 with lumen

Right now I’m looking for something with a similar to a vintage omega seamaster, because I love how thin and small it is. Only problem is price, I’m looking for something cheaper and similar. My wrists aren’t wide enough for a lot of watches.

Daily I rock a casio with a stainless steel band that has a clasp. The band held up really well over the years, and it doesn’t pinch you like the non-clasp more adjustable casio metal bands do.

I’m not sure if they do or not. But San Martin is a Chinese watchmaker that does homage watches for cheap. They are exceptional quality for really good prices. I would look at their website and see if they had anything like that. Then buy it on aliexpress for cheap

Etsy has some pretty sick communist watches:

For smart watches, I’d recommend huawei watch fits, or for a cheaper one, xiaomi band series.
