“You want to go to school? Lame! Talk to us about becoming middle management.”
You can start by becoming a worker’s cooperative wholly owned by the workers. This would be a preliminary step toward earning the kind of trustworthiness that would be needed for me to have even the remotest consideration that talking to you could help.
Has anybody already started a business where signing the contract literally enslaves you?
Look up how non-compete and non-disclosure clauses at some companies have worked for decades.
If you leave their company, you are legally not allowed to work in the industry or they sue you for absurd amounts of money. It’s so comical that companies like Jimmy John’s subs used clauses like that. You have no legal recourse; and are essentially bound to the company unless you jump through an absurd number of hoops.
What’s worse, is that you don’t have to leave the company of your own will for the non-compete clauses to apply. Even if you get fired or made redundant, you still can’t work in the industry you probably built your entire career on.
Amazon’s working on it. Just gotta get those company towns in place.
And they will do jackfuck for the needs that should be fulfilled.
Or just gaslight them into thinking they don’t really need those things.
This only guarantees resigning without notification
“You keep saying how we’re all one big family, so give me a share of the business ownership and add my name to your will.”
“Whoa whoa whoa, now that’s commie-nism! We’re a family, and every family has the benevolent provider and the deadbeat son. Now go back to work or I’ll cut your allowance!”
FUFILL
No quit policy
“How are we meant to know not to treat and pay you like dirt unless you speak to us first HM?”
What will they do if you don’t follow the policy, fire you?
I hope they mean well…
