Hi Lemmy! I’ve just uploaded a new beta version that adds support for Lemmy 0.19.4 features, this is the changelog:
- Hide posts: Individual posts can be hidden now. There is Show hidden toggle on the toolbar menu (Lemmy 0.19.4)
- View previously uploaded images on your profile page, Uploads tab (Lemmy 0.19.4)
- Add custom thumbnail when creating a link post (Lemmy 0.19.4)
- Show mod/admin indicators next to usernames in posts and comments
- Fixed mark as read on scroll not working on some instances
- Bug fixes and improvements
Thanks for using Lemmy. You’re the best!
App is smooth as butter. Thank you!

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to hide posts in my timeline. I obviously read the above in the release notes but still can’t figure it out.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated! 🙏
I logged out and back in but have a persisting bug-
I either can’t upload an image when creating a new post or the image preview/url isn’t working with the latest beta. The upload progress bar reaches 100% and then disappears, but the url/preview area is blank still.
Images within replies seem to be working as normal though…
I’ll fix that, thanks for reporting
Awesome, thank you for all the continued work!
Fixed in new beta version 1.0.14
It’s Christmas in July!

Weirdly enough this never failed to me with Boost… Other clients were busted though… (It seems that Summit for Lemmy also got a bug fix release recently addressing this).
Exciting! Thanks for the new updates :)
Thanks for everything you do!
One thing that’s been coming up is that Boost doesn’t seem to support certain markdown tags. For example, I’m pretty sure the Spoiler tag is a known issue.
The lemmy.world admins have enabled a bias checker bot for /c/news, /c/politics, and /c/world but we’re finding, in Boost, the bot posts appear fully expanded:
Compared to other apps that compress it down with a “click here to expand” arrow (Jerboa in this case).
I guess the GOOD news is that, in a head to head comparison, only THREE Lemmy apps fully supported everything, so Boost is in good company.
Comparison here:
I think spoiler tag support is the most important thing missing from Boost. @[email protected] please fix this
