After decades of warnings warped by opportunistic politics, it is hard these days to take this seriously.

There will probably be one or two small incidents, covered by the press, especially if the perpetrator is not Christian or is not white. Police departments will use this as an excuse to spend more money.

But any mass shooting that causes so many more casualties, in the next week or two, will have a small mention only and be forgotten.

Like the male, white supremist, Idaho sniper that just entrapped and assassinated two unarmed firefighters? You will not hear about white, male violence much.

"“I don’t know why he did it, and it’s – it’s shocking to me,” said the former classmate Dieter, who didn’t want his last name used publicly. “It’s something that villains do, plain and simple.”

Dieter described Wess Roley as someone who was unusually outspoken in the strident ways he would defend his views.

      Extremist views in high school

Dieter claimed Roley was someone who talked about Nazism, who was “very pro-gun,” who spoke of wanting to join the military, who would often make drawings of bombs and military vehicles and who allegedly got in trouble once for drawing swastikas in a textbook."

Jfc, the cognitive dissonance here is wild. There were clearly no signs the gun obsessed nazi was a psychopath, just no markers, nothing …
