Only Stick With Having One Dog If:
- You don’t have time to take care of a second dog.
- You don’t have the financial means to support a new pet.
- You are content and happy with just having one.
- Your partner or family does not want you to.
- Someone in the family is allergic to dogs. Having too many pooches increases the risk of dog allergies. One is manageable.
- You have not found the best and compatible second dog yet.
I have a hunch that those dogs are siblings, which makes it even better.
Hard to tell from the picture but getting two young puppies, siblings or not, is actually not advised due to something called littermate syndrome. They become too attached and dependent on each other and it messes with their behavior and development.
How could you possibly say ‘no’ to that face? To… either of those faces?
(I’d be tempted to name them Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-dum.)
