Hey everyone!

I’ve been taking a lot of selfies lately, and I’m trying to be mindful about how often I post. Recently, I’ve added eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lipstick to my makeup routine, and I’m excited to share that I’ll be hitting one year on HRT in early October with a few updates!

Since the beginning of my hormone journey, I’ve taken over 800 photos to document my progress. I decided to start an Instagram account for anyone interested in following along and showing support: Instagram . You can also find a link to my full Google Photos timeline there: Google photos timeline .

Your support means the world to me, and I’d love to share updates more often. If this post isn’t appropriate for the community, please let me know, and I’ll make adjustments. Also, if anyone knows of communities focused on timelines or LGBT selfies, I’d appreciate any recommendations.

Thank you so much for your support! 💖🏳️‍⚧️😁

Edit: forgot to actually put in links 😅

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! IM SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR YOU!!!

      Welcome to an AMAZING journey!

You should consider taking regular selfies too if you’re up for it. Seeing the changes over time can do a ton for confidence and it’s near invaluable as time passes. Even if it’s just for yourself, I’m so glad I did it.

I’m so happy for ya!!! I’m thinking of dying my hair the same colour as yours, is that your natural colour?

      EEEEEEEE! DO IT!

I grew it out for a year before finally committing to HRT and I first started dying at around 6 or 7 months in I think. My Google photos link has everything I took between then and now.

      I use this:

      https://www.amazon.com/LOréal-Paris-Feria-Permanent-Copper/dp/B00PFEFWNQ

Like once a month roughly. It comes in extremely red, then slowly fades into a nice orange. My hair is naturally a dark brown, so it normally takes a darker shade then on the photo, but I get some pretty bright colors out of that, for only like 11 bucks a month and no bleaching 😁🤘🏻

We have a very similar natural hair colour, this is perfect! Your HRT gains are spectacular too!

We need to discuss that cable fail in the second picture tho, omg the spaghetti!

HAHAHAHA see the disappointment! Not exactly the best environment when it came to the network closet but the people were great 😁

Wow, that eye makeup is on point! Can you share what products / techniques you’re using? I’ve found it almost impossible to get anything other than gel eyeliner to stick.

I use this liquid eyeliner you can find at Walmart, q-tips to clean up as I mess up and a lot of cussing. I try to steady my hands on my cheeks when applying with my elbows on a platform and I do quick stripes that help me make a defined line. The cussing is a must. I’m getting better, but defining lines is really hard and I feel like it never goes on even. Luckily my hooded eyes help hide my fuckups a wee bit I think. Practice practice 🤞🏻

This is what I carry in my bag, and the stuff I have at home is mostly the same. My foundation changes but I find just doing a few thin blends is all you really need. This is also how I found out my blush burst in my bag so I guess I need to take care of that after work today 😅

I’m missing a few items, like a red tart that I very very lightly blend in before putting anything else on to hide leftover facial hair (I included a photo in the comments that has a shot of me without makeup).

Also using various eyeshadows but I’ve been trying different stuff everyday there.
