I don’t often side with violent home intruders, but I wish him and his witch would’ve had their brains bashed out by that hammer guy.

Is anyone surprised anymore? Wasn’t she the one who didn’t let a bill, that prevent them from investing, from passing? Politicians don’t care anymore. They do illegal things in plain site because they know people won’t do shit. Bitch has been getting re-elected since 1676

I’m a democrat and get tired of this woman prancing around doing whatever the fuck she wants. Why can congress, or close family, even be allowed to own stock? Of course this bullshit will keep happening and nothing will be done about it.

These people need to be set to higher standards than this.

Exactly. This isn’t as much about Nancy as it is about politicians abusing their power.

They still shouldn’t be trading individual stocks, whether they have inside information or not.

Sure, I’m just saying there’s a reason why it’s always her that media talks about even when it’s clearly not insider trading and even if she always gets beaten by Republicans.

Kind of inspiring to see our normal downvote brigades find an issue we can agree on.

Let’s join force on this issue.

The sale was on July 1–almost 3 months ago— and the price was lower than on the day the lawsuit was announced.

Also, if you were paying any attention to Visa as an investor it has been obvious for awhile now that the company is underperforming.

Are you the only one in here who bothered to look? I saw your comment and decided to look, too, and unless I’m reading this wrong, you’re right and I don’t understand the point of this story.

Keyword being did. If you pick the right window of my stock portfolio you could say the same thing.

Disguised Republican propaganda, there hasn’t been a year where Pelosi was number one since people started keeping an eye on her moves and she’s always getting beat by a bunch of Republicans no one cares about.

Considering that most people don’t realize that she’s not #1 and that she even got beat by the S&P in 2022, I think it’s fair to say that it’s pretty well disguised

Republicans are obsessed with pelosi owning stocks as if she’s the only person in Congress who does it. I guess it takes the heat of everyone else… I read a list of the top 10 stock owners and profit makers in Congress, one of course the top ones were republicans.

“Waahhh” huh? What a ridiculous reply.

Okay, how’s Tommy Tuberville? But who cares. I’m not visiting your “x” link but sources I’ve seen don’t even have pelosi in the top 10. Republicans are just obsessed with attacking her even now that she’s not Speaker. Talk about “waahhh”. That’s fine, if you want to engage in massive hypocrisy, wring your hands about imaginary problems and pretend everything bad is democrats, that’s very on brand for conservatives.

Anyway, yes, you should be concerned about ethical lapses of Congress members even if you don’t recognize their names.

Where’d that data come from? Do congresspeople have public portfolios?

If so, it becomes a solved problem because we can just subscribe to the top performers’ portfolios to keep up (and nullify their advantage).

If they don’t have public portfolios how was this generated?

Yes, all their portfolios are public. Unusual Whales actually tracks all their trades and offers tools to mimic their trades if you so desire. Many people watch what stocks people like Nancy Pelosi purchase and use them to guide their own decision-making.
