Here in India, media is a tool of the fascists. I am ashamed to say it but the concept of journalistic standards is alien to the audience here. The media literally parrots the IOF line, to such a degree of precision that makes me think that I underestimated the sheer evil that can exist in the heart of human beings.
But India is a kind of a special case in the Global South, since its an Islamophobic Hindu fascist state and the preposterous IOF talking points slot well with the racist talking points.
But I am wondering what the situation is like everywhere else. Please fill me in.
Here in Brazil mainstream media like Globo tend to be very Zionist.
And I don’t get why but the conservatives just fucking love Isn’treal, its common to see Isn’treali flags when these conservatives do gatherings and protests. I guess a lot of it is because of Bolsonaro. A lot of evangelicals do that to. It’s so weird. I remember seeing uses of the flag way before October 7 too.
I don’t see much in local news about the genocide anymore, but it’s baffling that every time there is something there’s always so many Zionists spamming the colonizer’s flag in comments and such.
@KrasMazov
Evangelical churches plays a big part in the popular support for the Zionists in Brazil. I think theres a belief on their part that Jesus will return if the jewish people go to the promised land, which is basically the Eretz Yisrael that the Zionists want.
@ksynwa
Oh so that’s why. A part of my family is evangelical, but they don’t really talk much about religion other than mentioning something here and there, so I never knew that.
i strongly recommend the analysis of breno altman from opera mundi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwcS_8bpOqQ
@olgas_husband @KrasMazov Breno Altman is doing an outstanding work in Brazil denouncing the atrocities of the zionist regime. He is a jew but not a zionist, and because of what he says, is suffering heavy lawfare from the zionists organizations in Brazil trying to silence him.
Thansks, I didn’t know he did a video on that, I’ll watch it
