I have a cousin who is 100% convinced that the US government or someone is hiding anti-gravity from everyone. Something about wheel manufacturers having a chokehold on the world.

I have this weird little vehicle from the 1980’s. I can best describe it as a Japanese Jeep. It wasn’t ever a “big” vehicle, but seeing it next to a modern truck is jarring.

The best part is, I know from direct repeated personal experience that the 60 horsepower 4wd can go more places than a typical 4wd truck.

I used to work with truckers, and a LOT of them started out like this.

I used to use high-powered (4KW) lasers at work every day. Now I make 3D models and sit at a desk.

I remember the school buses in one high school I went to running on propane. It’s not as clean as electric, but it’s cleaner than diesel… and at the time, an electric school bus would have been expensive, if not outright science fiction.

Fun facts I’ve learned while working for a living:

1.) A bottle of coca-cola, or any sugary drink, will ruin a concrete pour.

I don’t need to do all of that to some critter just for fun. Which brings me to the second thing about fishing that I don’t like : It’s not fun. It’s boring. It’s so boring. Just stand here and hope a fish eventually bites.

For almost all of my driving, I could almost get away with a 120v wall outlet for charging. Less than 20 miles per day.

I’ve pictured an EV as something you’d treat like a cell phone - once you are home and not using it anymore, you plug it in to charge. Is this what you do, or do you use charging stations? It seems like a great way to avoid standing in the cold pumping gas.

I live in Oklahoma, drive an Old Green Truck™, have a lazy dog of unknown breed, and I work in a machine shop. Last week my neighbor and I rebuilt a motorcycle engine and put it in his bike. My wife and I have chickens. I’m a pretty sterotypical “redneck”.
