But seriously, I’m amazed at the quality indie devs are putting out these days. I don’t even bother looking at most AAA releases anymore.

No mention of Euchre, which is also a wonderful trick-taking game that uses (some of) a standard deck
Café Eblana: a final fantasy fan site. I think I saw a reference to it in a Game Players magazine, and looked it up on a school computer around 1996.
I recently enjoyed ‘Project Hail Mary’, by Andy Weir. If you liked ‘The Martian’, it is essentially more of the same; a very easy read that moves at a good pace.
