This news has me worried that Gaza will be the new camp for “undesirables” that we’re struggling to deport. I sure hope I am wrong.
Not likely after his “Riviera of the Middle East” and knowledge that his son-in-law Jared Kushner has ties will wealthy people in that area. They’re probably salivating to scoop up that land for pennies on the dollars (or free) and have all their wealthy backers develop the land as a resort for the wealthy.
The really neat trick is the land is way too risky as it stands for any developer to take on even putting aside the horrific context. There’s just too much dangerous stuff lying around.
So he spends US government resources to get things nice and ready by spending taxpayer money and then hands it over to his family to make their money when the area is suitably ready.
Just like the sovereign fund where he wants to toss a bunch of tax money into a fund and then use that fund to give to Elon so Elon can use taxpayer money to buy TikTok, while the US government makes TikTok worth less through screwing with their business.
Nah, Trump sees “Gaza Strip” and two things pop into that despicable brain of his:
- Sweet Mediterranean beachfront territory ripe for resorts
- The word “strip” means it should be like the Las Vegas strip
His camps are going to be in places he sees as unambiguously devoid of potential.

The American electoral system gives a voter the choice of potentially improving things (Dem) or actively making things worse (Rep). Given FPTP and the heavy use of propaganda, all other options (spoiling, abstaining, third party voting) equate to a republican vote, there is no other reality.
If an American did not vote Democrat in the election that just passed, they voted for complete ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the gutting of human rights in the USA—they didn’t even try to hide what they were going to do this time. There is zero excuse.

To be clear, Trump is now openly promoting genocide. I considered this administration fascist up until now. Now, they full ass Nazis. Any American not going to the protests tomorrow and participating in a full on general strike is complicit with Nazis.
I agree with your first two sentences, but not with your last one. You have to take into consideration that many people are in different situations. If you have trouble making ends meet, if you need your job to feed your family, you might not be inclined to risk your job to protest. What I’m trying to say is, not all people that don’t protest are Nazis. Stating they are creates another layer of polarization that isn’t bringing us anywhere near a solution. And yes: Us. even though I’m not a US citizen, it unfortunately affects the world.
I’m certain this was exactly Kamala’s plan. She never said the magic combination of words that means she believes exactly what I want her to believe, so obviously this would have happened either way.
She said she would do nothing different. The genocide was obvious for months prior. Why would you continue defending this at this point? It’s been gross for over a year. Dems lost for many reasons, and on this issue it is fucking inexcusable.

Harris’s plan: Gazans continue to suffer with constant bombardments and crumbling infrastructure. The US offers minor humanitarian aid and pays lip service to their plight.
Trump’s plan: Extermination of all Gazans in a massive US-backed and Israeli-executed ethnic cleansing campaign in order to turn Gaza into a vacation spot for rich Israelis. Possible location for the next Trump hotel and casino.
Trump’s plan sounds a lot like what reality has been. Was he in the Biden administration?

Well, there was the primary, so people could have voted for him in 2024 reasonably at some point in the year.
They starting pushing forth against voting for him long before Kamala became the candidate, and they still call him genocide Biden. Kamala and Biden where on the same ticket regarding criticism of their handling in their Middle East.
