I mean if i was just chilling in the woods having a good time and a group of people came along and were like ‘theres a dude missing in the woods, we’re super worried about him, help us look’ id probably join them too. Seems like more of a failure by whoever called the search party. Of course that would never happen to me because I’d never tell anyone where im going and nobody would miss me.

Have legit tried edibles from multiple sources and nothing. Dabs and flower ok but edibles have had no luck.

Hoping its my luck, but could be the prenatal exposure 🤷

Are you a ginger? Do you need more time for anesthesia to take effect or for your gums to be numb after dentist shots?

I’m working on a theory that if you have a high tolerance to the numbing stuff then the edibles don’t really work for you. I know someone that tried all different edibles cause they worked at one of the stores that sold it. None of them worked, except when they really overdid it and had a whole mushroom bar. Even then it was minor. Edibles just don’t effect some people.

Here’s a weird question: do you have a gallbladder? People without a gallbladder tend to have that experience with edibles, or need a higher dose to get an effect.

I think I’m one. Tried weed multiple times in different types but never had any sort of experience let alone enjoyable one. Smoke a joint, just get sore lungs. Eat edibles? Bleh, just a gross tasting candy.

Only time I felt anything was after a 50mg gummy, and that was just a bit of light headedness for a half hour.

Yea, it’s a thing. An ex of mine made funny brownies with a shitload of weed, and I got a small high from it at best. When smoking, I can get stoned fine. Also, might be because of my messed up metabolism I guess

I feel like she purposely joined the search party. Why are they using the word “accidentally”?

Whether she knew she was looking for herself or not is a different matter.

It’s a cover story, she was trying to disappear and start a new life somewhere without extradition to get away from her life of crime before the consequences caught up with her. Bad luck to get swept along in your own search party but you’d only attract more attention by walking back out through the group.

The first time I took edibles, I was solo and took too much. I was spaced out and far too aware of the wind blown by my ceiling fan as it touched my skin. It wasn’t even a fun trip.

That’s what I was trying to say. I ate a quarter, waited 30 minutes, thought “This ain’t shit!”

Then I ate the rest, and 15 minutes later I was so high I was miserable. Way, way too high. It was not pleasant. I learned my lesson.

Well, reading comprehension is a good thing.

I thought I laid it out clear it was my first time, and like most folks who have smoked before, I didn’t know how long edibles took to kick in.

And when it did, more than I wanted, I found a quiet place, and suffered until it was over.

miiiight want to re-read the comment you replied to. they didn’t ask you why you did it, but what you did after. which though you answered, the “reading comprehension” comment is rather uh ironic there

Yeah, what you thought was a badass clapback in your head makes absolutely no sense, and reads as if it was written by an idiot.

                Try harder.

Again… as I stated, I was so high that I secluded myself.

Why are you probing about this?

Edit: let me rephrase. Your original comment didn’t mention what you did. You made a snide remark about reading comprehension when you didn’t even reread your own comment. That’s just hostile for no reason.

                  – Original reply:

Because that’s what the other person asked. “Secluded myself” isn’t really an answer. I can seclude myself counting leaves in the forest, lay down and stare at the ceiling, walk circles around my room and try to make them perfectly circular…

It’s not that you have to tell; saying “I don’t know” or “I’d rather not say” would be an answer too. But you made a snide remark regarding the other person’s reading comprehension (why?) and fail to properly comprehend their question (or mine).
