    When you look at the actual questions instead of the deliberately misleading headlines some bellend at the Guardian made up, these numbers could also mean “majority of Europeans doesn’t think Ukraine stands a chance.” If Ukraine should receive support is only asked in the second question, the first one is entirely on whether the amount they are getting can prevent a Russian victory and even in a country as astonishingly stupid on realpolitik as Germany, only 20% of the respondeds are dumb enough to actually believe this.

      Exactly. The conclusion entirely excludes people who think it’s simply not viable (or even desirable) to send enough resources to win against Russia. It just assumes everyone in the west must want to infinitely arm Ukraine.

      It’s now very clear even to westoids that Ukraine is losing, so “not enough” is clearly just an objective truth to the actual question stated.

    Isn’t that the West’s attitude toward war in a nutshell? They want it to consist of killing huge numbers of racialized foreigners without even the tiniest inconvenience on their own part.
