    Did someone retouch his teeth?

I had no idea it was possible for someone to have such straight teeth naturally (not sure about orthodinistry in this era).

Orthodontics were developed at that time, but I don’t know how widespread it was. Some people just have all the luck!

Not hard because you look fucking ridiculous in them. They’re flabby and bottom heavy and not-at-all like in games. They fit like shit and do look goofy as hell. Wonder what the context here was.

    They’ll save your life though.

E-bit of Google says this was during a drill and felt his squad mates did indeed look ridiculous.

I drilled in one before, I had trouble breathing in it and ended up taking it off to get some fresh air every now and then. I guess it’s a good thing we weren’t in an actual environment where they were necessary, because I’d have probably died

I wonder which regiment he was in. There were only 2 black combat divisions from the US, a vast majority of black troops were forced into support roles.

Hey, A plus on finding a start! Names, regiments, and other details in the post give me a lot of stuff to work with

Edit: I already have a lead since they referenced the buffalo soldiers in the hashtags
