People just assuming bad faith, I would totally get a “my grandchildren are in my selfish son’s balls” sticker for my parents if it weren’t a wierd thing to put on a car.

Y’all reacting to this with no context or anything.

I’m sure most of us know someone who would 100% give a sticker like this jokingly to their parent, and the parent thinking it’d be a laugh to slap on the car.

    I sure as hell do.

So for all y’all know, this is a joke that you arent in on and getting pissed over.

Maybe you shouldn’t have neglected me, slut shamed me, and let my cousins make me strip for all of them at once at 4 years old? (Not you you, OP)

I mean, yeah. These are the kind of people whose skeletons should be found on the couch in front of a still running television by whoever shows up to evict them for failure to pay taxes because they didn’t have anyone in their lives willing and able to put them in a home.

Bedsore Meadows is the luxurious death option.

there are quite a few people who seem to want to be mothers more than they want to actually have kids.

Lots of people are. The big advent of the modern century has been keeping more people alive longer, not having more kids.

We just happened to be born into a generation that had a glut of human labor without savvy administration to guide its usefulness.

The next generation will be leaner. But the generation after? Who can say? 8B is a lot of people. I don’t think humanity is just winking out because we drop below replacement leave.

Lots of other people are still having kids. It’s not on any one person or even one nation to worry about.

If all it takes to horrify your palate is carbonating some pasta sauce, then for your own mental health, never ever ever ever ever ask a black person what “chitlins” are.

I’ve spent most of my life in the South, I absolutely know what chitlins are. They ain’t great but they are what they’re intended to be: making the most out of whatever you can afford.

I’m also Italian-American. Carbonated pasta sauce was intended for no man. It would be an abomination against God and nature.

These boomers are lucky we are civilized enough to NOT take the matter into our own hands to save social security and permit proper economic distrbution of resource so normal couple can have kids.

    Truly fucking clueless.

Regime bootlickers won’t acknowledge that many people are NOT having kids due to failed social policy their beloved owners and their regimes whores got going for us.

Sure, but it still a bit much to put on your car. I don’t have ovaries but I don’t think I’d like to see my parent have this if I did.

“my children are thrown away in a tissue” doesn’t quite have the same ring to it

I don’t even assume this person has a daughter. For all we know, they have a non-binary child and wish them “happy daughter’s day” every year. Not that I have a mom like that or anything /projection

I wouldn’t assume that. What a horrible position to be in. I could see my mother slapping this on and exclaiming GET IT IT’S A JOKE?! Which, how does a reasonable person respond to that? Most would probably wince and move on, while mom is gleefully unaware at how much it hurts her daughter.

And we haven’t even gotten to what if daughter can’t have children and is too ashamed to admit it!

Some people beat their kids and abuse them. These parents made a corny joke that nobody would have batted an eye at 10 years ago. Not that big a deal

Has every joke your parent or family made funny? And if the joke wasn’t funny, did you cut them out of your life and abandon them?

This ‘joke’ is not an offhand comment that wasn’t thought through. Someone thought this, found and purchased the sticker, installed it, and lives with it every day. I would definitely cut someone out of my life if they continuously disrespected me like this, at least if they continued to do this after I confronted them about it.

I’m not overreacting. Anyone who would put such a nasty sticker on their vehicle clearly has no respect for their adult children. If they are willing to broadcast the supposed “selfishness” of their daughter to everyone around them, you know that this sticker is just the tip of the iceberg.

Imagine what they must say to their daughter in private if this is what they think is appropriate to say about her in public.

I feel like there are a ton of assumptions being made in this comment section. When I first saw it I thought it was funny and imagined a much more light hearted relationship between that woman and her daughter.
