Put them in her lunchbox tomorrow, with dabs of cream cheese, drizzled with strawberry jam.

Tell her they’re what was left after the bears had plastic surgery.

You’ll either be called in for ‘a talk,’ or your daughter will be the hero of the lunch period.

That looks delicious and cute, but like cake, not bread.

    That’s not bread.

That’s bread. (And despite the dark outlook, it’s honestly very sweet as well, this darker version of the traditional reissumies.)

The boring answer is to let them dry out and make bread crumbs. The fun answer is to toss them in egg, sugar and vanilla and make French toast bites

We know this is your lunch. You’re not slick. On a side note, can you start packing my lunches as well?

    Breakfast cups.

Muffin tin with non stick spray. Tear bread into pieces into cups.

Options - add diced ham, green onions, chopped cooked breakfast sausage, shredded cheese, cottage cheese, anything tasty.

Beat some eggs with a little milk, salt, pepper, and mostly fill the cups and bake.

Looks like you already know what to do with that Nutella. My only alternative suggestion would be to low heat toaster oven or microwave them to give the leftovers more of crunchy breadstick consistency.

    Wednesday’s lunch?

Subsequently, when I make fresh burgers I use soft breads and a bit of milk as my ‘breadcrumbs’/binding materials along with egg if course. So make some bugs!
